Child Profile Information
To generate personalized stories, you provide:
- Child's first name
- Age (2–10)
- Gender
- Avatar appearance settings (skin tone, hair style, hair color, clothing, accessories)
Generated Content
- AI-generated stories and illustrations created through the service
- Favorite and sharing preferences
Automatically Collected
- Authentication session cookies (required for sign-in functionality)
We do not use analytics trackers, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To generate personalized stories and illustrations for your child
- To send a one-time welcome email when you create your account
- To enable features like favorites and story sharing
- To run automated safety checks on generated content
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Smart Kid Story. Each receives only the minimum data necessary:

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Smart Kid Story is designed for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All child profile information is provided by the parent or guardian who holds the account. No child accounts exist — only adult accounts are created.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the third-party service providers listed above, solely for the purpose of operating the service.
If you use the story sharing feature, the shared story and illustrations become viewable by anyone with the link. No account information is included in shared stories.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data (avatars, stories, and images) at any time by contacting us at the email below. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, row-level security policies on our database, and input validation on all user-submitted data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent for data processing (by deleting your account)
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
